In an earlier post, I talked about converting (unusable) tables in PDF documents into (usable) spreadsheets. But here’s an example that might be more useful: converting a paragraph of text into an excel spreadsheet.

I have been using this capability increasingly: to pull out flight details, from e-tickets, to get contact information from websites, and to convert a bunch of email responses into spreadsheet rows. The more you use it the more uses you discover.
