Copying from PDF to Excel via ChatGPT is magical
One of the most frustrating things is seeing a table of data in a PDF and realizing that you can’t do anything interesting with it until you copy it painstakingly into Excel. In fact, there’s an entire industry of (expensive) software tools which automate this. However, you can now get this capability free by using ChatGPT1

This will not work if the PDF is an evil PDF where every page is an image instead of text. So no, Shankkar, you can’t use this, sorry.
Seems like an overkill for this specific usecase. Free tools such as tesseract have OCR and do a fairly good job.
